About the role

Our content trainers work closely with our clients and our content team to solve internal content production problems for our clients. They teach clients topics like content strategy, writing best practices, content editing, SEO, and finding better, more efficient ways of helping our customers produce high-impact content that converts.

We’re looking for candidates who:

  • Can prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Have strong organization and communication skills
  • Comfortable with being client facing
  • Comfortable with training our clients’ content manager to develop, execute, and measure effective content strategies that drive results
  • Serving as a supporting point of contact on client accounts
  • Leading weekly meetings with a client’s content manager on retainer accounts
  • Identifying opportunities and aiding in developing a client’s quarterly content strategy
  • Setting quarterly goals for clients, monitoring progress, presenting on performance, and providing client actionable feedback to ensure progress
  • Setting timelines for content projects and overseeing their success
  • Working alongside a Content Coach to ensure their responsibilities are properly executed
  • Aiding clients in learning how to measure success within HubSpot reporting
  • Assisting the Content Coach with leading and training team members of the content team
  • Project Management and keeping clients on task to ensure they are meeting their content goals
  • Creating content for Media Junction to help improve our own marketing efforts & position you as a thought leader in the digital marketing space

Role requirements

  • Understand SEO best practices
  • Know Inbound, Content & Email Marketing best practices
  • HubSpot Certifications: Inbound Marketing, Content Marketing, SEO Email Marketing, Social Media Marketing, HubSpot Marketing Software, HubSpot Reporting, and Client Management
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A passion for learning and teaching

Nice-to-haves, but not required:

  • Background in teaching, coaching, managing, or training
  • HubSpot Platform Experience
  • Have worked in an agency or startup environment
  • Previous freelance writing work
